The black and yellow markings are possibly scary to predators also because it makes her look like a huge wasp. She isn’t dangerous to people. She just wants to eat big flying or jumping insects. She’ll make an egg sac soon, if she hasn’t already done it. It will probably look like golden cotton candy. She’ll guard it as long as she can, then her life will be done when the cold dry weather takes her.
